Huang, Yang-Tung was born in Taiwan, Republic
of China, in 1955. He received the B.S. degree in electrophysics, the M.S.
degree in electronics from National Chiao Tung University, R.O.C., in 1978
and 1982 respectively, and the Ph.D degree in electrical and computer engineering
(minor in optical sciences) from the University of Arizona, U.S.A., in
1990.
